A health care company that specializes in assisting primary care physicians through software tools and other programs, hired Egghead Logic to build a HIPAA compliant, automated faxing and mailing program. The program accesses a data feed of physicians and patients, parses it, then sends a unique fax, consolidated for each physician’s office with a summary of that practice’s recent patient activity outside of the physician’s office (think Emergency room visits, etc), and patient reminders.
